What We Do

New structures, repairs, net replacements, and maintenance — across Johannesburg and Gauteng.

New Installations

Cantilever and four-post shade structures for residential and commercial properties. Poles are dug in and set in concrete, or fixed with base plates onto an existing slab — the correct way to anchor a structure that has to handle wind and hail loads. Send clear photos for a rough estimate and I'll come back to you same day. The firm quote follows a site visit.

Maintenance & Repairs

Most shade structures don't need replacing — they need attention. I re-stitch fraying edges, replace broken cables, repaint steel, and retension nets that have gone slack. Getting more years out of a good frame is almost always better value than starting over. Before wind season, see what actually fails, and why →

Net Replacement

If the steel is still sound, I can replace the netting without touching the structure. Knittex Colourshade Z25 — commercial-grade, UV-stabilised, available in 25 colours. A net replacement typically takes half a day and gives your structure another 10–12 years. Not sure which shade percentage you need? Read the guide →

Repairs to Existing Structures

I work on structures I didn't build. Broken cross welds, bumped poles, broken hoops, rusted bases — the frame is repaired, not replaced. I'll assess it first and tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense or whether the steel is too far gone. If it needs a rebuild, I'll say so — and quote accordingly. No unnecessary upselling.

Steel & Netting Options

Steel is painted in charcoal, black, white, grey, or navy — or a custom colour for larger commercial jobs. Netting comes in 13 stocked Knittex colours, with 12 more available on order. Use the configurator to see how combinations look before you commit. Pole sizes, cable and netting specs →

Site Assessment & Quoting

Send me photos and I'll give you a rough estimate, free. The firm quote comes after a site visit, where I measure and check the ground myself. A site visit is R450, and it comes off the total if you go ahead.
