Costs & Pricing
I get asked the same question first: "How much?" Here's the honest answer. The price depends on the ground, the access, and the size. But I'd rather you had a number before you called me than after.
These are bands, not quotes. If I say R18,000–R24,000, it means "usually lands in that range." If your ground is rock, or your driveway is narrow, or you want a higher roof, it moves.
I measure every site I install myself. I check the ground. I give you a real number before you commit.
Photos give a rough estimate, and it's free. Send me pictures and measurements and I'll give you a ballpark price. It is an estimate, not a firm quote.
A site visit gives you the firm quote. It is R450. That is when I come out and measure the site myself, so the price holds. If you proceed with the job, it comes off the total. If you don't, it covers my time.

We don't guarantee the lifespan of an old net. If the cloth is UV-finished and sagging, re-tensioning it is throwing money away. I'll tell you if you need to replace it.
What's included
- ✓ Steel poles: 76mm or 101mm. They don't flex.

- ✓ 50mm welded D-rings. No cheap plastic clips.
- ✓ Installation — I'm on site when we put it up.
- ✓ Standard anchoring: concrete footings in normal ground.
What's NOT included
- ✕ Rock or concrete drilling — special anchors cost extra.
- ✕ Height extensions beyond 2.1m clearance.

What pushes the price up
I'll tell you these before you commit. No surprises.
- Rock or concrete anchoringDrilling into rock costs more than digging in dirt.
- Access issuesNarrow driveways, slopes, or tight spaces mean we need smaller equipment or more manual labour.
- Height extensionsStandard clearance is 2.1m. Higher means longer poles and more steel.
- Custom sizesA 6-bay cantilever isn't "standard plus a bit." It's custom engineering.
- Unstable groundMay need deeper footings or concrete pads.
- Customer-supplied materialsI'll stitch it, but I won't guarantee the lifespan.
The warranty — most companies don't tell you this. I will.
Warranty void if:
- A third party alters, repairs or interferes with the structure.
- The structure is damaged by extreme weather beyond normal conditions.
- The netting is customer-supplied and fails.
